2025 Summer Tour to Mid Wales

On Friday 12th September a party of 36 bowlers (which included some friends from 3 other clubs ) left for a long weekend in Mid Wales.

Over the weekend we played games at Hay on Wye, Knighton and Llandrindod Wells ( played indoors ) and although no bowls was played we did attend the final venue against Penteg House for tea and cakes , which included some lovely Welsh Cakes.

Again Brenda ( the mascot ) was with us and was looked after by various groups of bowlers who were the worst rinks.

All in all I think the tour went very well, the host clubs were great  the hotels food was superb and Astons coaches looked after us

Thank you to all of the tourists for supporting me and for again giving monies to our Charity Pancreatic Cancer Action.
