2025 Success

National Mens Double Fours

Congratulations to our Men’s Double Fours Squad on their incredible success, in winning the National Club Two Fours Competition at the All-England Finals at Leamington Spa.   This marathon competition started way back in May, with 10 rounds/games being played,

  • Prelim. Suttons B 39 – 27
  • 1st Round Tilehurst A 43 – 24
  • 2nd Round Reading 35 – 24
  • 3rd Round Thatcham 33 – 28
  • 4th Round Banbury 35 – 21
  • All England Last 32 - Spencer Moulton at Neutral Green of Devizes 40 – 19
  • All England Last 16 - Vines Park, Worc. at Neutral Green of Cheltenham 39 – 19

All England Finals at Leamington Spa:

  • Quarter Finals: Camberley, Surrey 40 – 36
  • Semi-Final: Alton Social, Hampshire 36 – 24
  • Final: Royal Mail, Lincolnshire 33 – 32

This is a fantastic achievement by the 8 players who played. Well done to Elliott Winskill, Mark Hancock, Liam Hancock, Steve Warren, Ryan Lali, Carlos Lali, Tom Clough and Mikey Titcombe

 

Berkshire County Junior and Open Pairs Competitions
Congratulations also to Carlos and Ryan Lali who won both competitions and represented Berkshire at the All-England Finals in Leamington Spa. 

 

Berkshire County Ladies Fours Competitions

Congratulations to Kirsty Courtney, Margaret Neaves, Trixie Walsh-Stock and Jill Ridley who came runners up in this competition and represented Berkshire at the All-England Finals in Leamington Spa

Berkshire Kennet League

Shrivenham men had a successful season in the Kennet League, winning the West Division.   They narrowly lost the final against Sutton from East Division.  But another fantastic result 

Berkshire County Club Championships

A knock out competition of 4 triples.  Shrivenham made it to the final, where the narrowly lost to Thatcham 67-64.  A great effort by all involved.

In the Club Championship we narrowly lost to Thatcham 67-64 winning on two rinks losing on two rinks. A great effort by all the players involved.
